Understanding Our Results
Cadmore End is a small school with small year groups. In 2025, our Year 6 cohort consisted of just six pupils, including children with additional needs and children who joined Cadmore End during Key Stage 2.
In a cohort of this size, each child represents approximately 17% of the published results. Headline percentages can therefore change considerably from one year to the next and should be considered alongside the size and individual circumstances of each cohort.

Official Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 progress measures could not be calculated for this cohort because there was no Key Stage 1 baseline available following disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attainment measures provide only one part of the picture and do not take pupils’ individual starting points into account. Our own assessment information shows that individual pupils made strong progress during their time at Cadmore End. To protect the privacy of children in such a small cohort, we do not publish individual or subgroup outcomes.
At Cadmore End, we are ambitious for every child. We consider published attainment information alongside a wider range of evidence, including progress from individual starting points, work across the curriculum, attendance, personal development and readiness for secondary school.
Our March 2024 Ofsted inspection recognised that pupils work hard and achieve well, particularly in reading and mathematics. Inspectors also found that pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified and assessed well, receive appropriate support and progress well through the curriculum. This reflects our ambition for every pupil, whatever their individual starting point or additional needs.
